Welcome to our driving school!.. We are a driving school with a rich history and over 70 years of experience in teaching people how to drive safely and confidently on the road and the first government-approved driving school in Nugegoda.

Mr. Prashad Perera, the principal of Perera Driving School has been in his family for three generations. Mr. Prashad’s grandfather founded the driving school back in the 1950s, and it has been passed down through his family ever since. Growing up, Mr. Prashad spent countless hours at the driving school, watching his father and uncle teach students how to drive.
After earning a degree in computer science, Mr. Prashad decided to follow in his family’s footsteps and take over the driving school. He has been running the school for the past decade and has continued to uphold the values and traditions that his grandfather and father instilled in the business.
